Problem

When I joined Zapmoto, the driver app had buttons that didn't work and critical functionality missing.

Nearly half of all drivers had abandoned it in favor of a third-party app, which meant Zapmoto lost visibility into trip progress and customer support had almost nothing to work with when issues arose.

Solution

I redesigned the app around how drivers actually work: in motion, under time pressure, needing clarity at every step.

The new experience is map-centric, minimal, and built around a clear in-trip flow with easy recovery paths when things go wrong.

Impact

Driver adoption went from 45% to 99%. Zapmoto's operations team regained full trip visibility, and customer support finally had the context they needed to do their jobs.
